Victor 1...@1.1i microsoft public windows vista general You can try shrinking the vista parition with vistas built in partition manager.. but this does not always work Have in mind that since you will be installing XP after vista it will disable the vista boot manager and you will only be able to boot into XP.

You could also try a Repair Install with Vista which is done exactly the same way as in XP: ***Repair Install Steps*** (can be used for Vista) MVP Doug Knox XP on a dual boot. 1. Use Bootsect.exe to restore the Windows Vista MBR and the boot code that transfers control to the Windows Boot Manager program.

So when you install xp after vista, the key point is to restore the boot sector. If you don't, you can write all the MBRs you want, they won't fix your problem. Use Bootsect.exe to restore the Windows Vista MBR and the boot code that transfers control to the Windows Boot Manager program.

Before removing Grub, but after removing XP, I had installed everything onto XP 64 and all went well, the Simulators started up fine, and the Controler was functioning and calibrated on the system, but then setting it up promptly crashed one of the games. I re-installed several times without any luck.
